Easy-to-grow heavy producer of large inch-long fruits which ripen to a pale green.  Invicta has a lot of thorns but makes up for it by producing the largest fruits of any gooseberry variety!
Self-pollinating perennial. Mildew resistant.
Prefers partial to full sun and rich soil in a well-drained location. 4 ft wide and 3 ft tall.
Deer resistant; the leaves contain hydrogen cyanide and should not be fed to animals.
