This perennial is a prolific producer of half-inch long berries which taste somewhat like a sweet chile pepper. 
Grows long canes which fall over when laden with fruit; best to choose a few large canes and tie them to a trellis or other form of support.
Grows well in shade or sun; berries grown in the shade tend to be more sweet.
